Black effigies, burnt at the furnace,

Steel cogs sparking blue,

Mass produced lethargy

Squeezed from the steel tube.

From afar a single mass

But perspective changes truth,

A universe between each atom,

There is no us only you.

Divided by a thousand screens,

Satellites beaming through

Noise and sunstrike to subsume us

As we follow the path they choose.

A single serve pressed to the mould,

We think ourselves something new,

Electric rainbows in the air

While on earth a midnight hue.
